Connlan is the Founder and Director of the business, he is an industry professional with 12 years experience in the hospitality and government sector. Connlan continues to set the standard for upcoming security consultants nationwide.
Kieran Norton-Taylor
General Manager
Kieran is the General Manager & primary trainer for the business, he currently teaches COA and National Certificate courses to staff in a public forum. Kieran is currently studying a diploma in Security studies at Massey University.
Daniel Hau
HR Manager
Dan specialises in accounts & human resources and is an integral part of the management team. His qualifications and experience include a BCom from Canterbury University and his leadership expereience is a valuable asset to the team.
Wayne Sofai
Training Manager
Wayne continues to set the highest standard in professional dress & customer service. His knowlege and mentoring is an important investment in our workforce.
Our Story
Alpha Protection Services was created to address the growing need for professional security hosts in the hospitality security sector in Christchurch. Our professional security hosts are highly experienced in a variety of aspects which include identification screening, customer service meeting and greeting, conflict resolution, knowledge of relevant liquor laws and government legislation. We believe that quality service, immaculate presentation and excellent people skills are essential to your business as we are the first and last impression of the customers experience.
Connlan and Kieran Norton-Taylor founded the business in 2017 to recreate a professional image for the hospitality sector in Christchurch, all security staff hired by the business complete extensive customer service based training which has resulted in Alpha Protection upskilling all of thier security professionals. The business is now a brand that is associated with employing and training the best security professionals in the New Zealand security industry.
